our daughter has the absolute sweetest little chubby cheeks.
It's hard to figure out what you're looking at when you didn't see the original, clearer image on the monitor, but the white splotch is between her eyes and she's sideways in the photo (but is actually head down). Her hand is just above her.
What a difference from the bony version of her from earlier ultrasounds!
I just love her. She is precious and perfect and I can hardly wait to hold her.
Oh and her weight estimate is 6 lbs, 8 ozs, but that can be off as much as a pound. It wasn't a big enough estimate though for them to be concerned about delivery. Typically babies gain about 1/2 pound a week right now. Speaking of weight, I'm still not back up to where I was 4 weeks ago when I decided the water retention had to go. I still have some of the fluid buildup, but that's normal. My doctor says everything--my blood pressure, weight, Kaelyn's heartbeat, are all on track and awesome.
Remember the whole debacle at my old doctor's office? Well I found out that the entire office is closing. February 28th. So I would have not only been without my doctor, I would have been without any doctor. I cannot express how relieved I am that I trusted my instincts and made the switch the day of that upsetting appointment. I'm so happy I have my new doctor who I feel so comfortable with.
Not much longer now! We have a Saturday w/ family and then Sunday as a date day (also getting the car seats installed at the fire station) so I'm really looking forward to the weekend. Should be relaxing.
