Last year, Castle premiered on ABC. We thought we'd give it a try. The lead actor was in Firefly, which Brady liked. He also played the adorable doctor in Waitress, which I liked. It's now in its second season and we haven't missed an episode. DVR definitely helps with that. Here's why you should be watching it:
1. Great writers. The story-lines have clever twists and witty dialogue. Since the main character is a writer, I thought it was appropriate that, first and foremost, I'd give credit where credit is due.2. Nathan Fillion. He's hilarious and endearing. I think in real life he's a very funny guy and his wit definitely comes through in this role. It seems very natural for him.
3. Stana Katic, better known as "Beckett." She's feisty and keeps Castle on his toes...and vice versa.
4. Character chemistry. The dynamics between the main characters is interesting and believable. They did well casting, that's for sure.
If you like who-done-it mysteries, give Castle a try. It's on Monday nights at 9 on ABC. (Check your local times.)
