The Hubs and I would love for our unborn daughter to become the NHL's first starting female goalie. We like to refer to her hard kicks in womb as "kick saves" and the lighter jabs as "glove saves." We're goofy like that. Though she does seem to perk up during hockey games. ::taps chin thoughtfully:: Interesting...
It seems we're not the only ones with dreams of professional athlete greatness in our offspring. My stepbrother and his wife also have high aspirations for our (almost) 1-year-old niece Morgan. They hope she's the next big professional female golfer. In the event that happens, expect to see this photograph being released to NBC and ESPN sports.
This would be "Morgie-Moo" driving a golf cart. How adorable is she? Imagine the fashion line of pink golfwear she could be the spokesmodel for. I'm thinking Nike, seeing as their swoosh-donning golf superstar recently got himself in a bit of trouble. I think sponsorship of Morgan as she builds her golf skills could do wonders for them. Her gummy smile doesn't hurt either ;)
Ah, so a pro-golfer and a pro-hockey goalie and they're cousins just over a year apart. Sounds like the start of a beautiful friendship...
